Welcome, and thank you for visiting my site. My name is Dan Carlson and I have been the owner of a Furniture Medic franchise here in Sarasota for over 13 years. I specialize in building custom furniture, touching up damaged wood, fixing chairs and tables as well as building and installing custom entertainment centers that grace some incredible homes in this area.

In 1959 at age 12 I built a triple bunkbed. I've been building furniture since then and operate a Furniture Medic franchise. Repairs and custom furniture is what my wife Nancy and I specialize in.

I shot my first wedding in 1968 in northern Minnesota. I shot my latest one in 2006 in Mexico. Several of my shots have appeared on covers of national magazines and several of my articles on studio work were published in Popular Photography magazine.
